Abstract

The Qualification Bachelor paper analyses political activity of the First Lady of the USA by means of gender approach. The research shows contradictions which are caused by moving the term "First Lady" from public discourse to political and public attitude to the leadership of the First Lady. The scientific research establishes the legal status of the wife of the President of the United States and the forms of participation of the First Lady of the USA in politics.
