National identity of Ukrainians in the context of globalization challenges

Abstract

The paper provides a comprehensive study of the issue of shaping the Ukrainian national identity in the conditions of globalization challenges. The study analyses conceptual approaches to the study of national identity as a form of collective identity. The content and main factors that influence the formation of national identity are highlighted.
Particular attention is paid to the study of the impact of the globalization of the communication space on national identity. The specifics of the formation of Ukrainian national identity are also studied. The study presents the results of the forecast of the development of the Ukrainian national identity for 2022.
