Socio-economic development of the Ukrainian lands after the New Zaporozhian Sich liquidation

Abstract

In the qualification (bachelor's) paper the Sich state and legal system and the socio-economic situation are studied. The Manifesto of Catherine the Great is described and the significance of General Tekelia's ultimatum is determined. The New Sich territories’ socio-economic situation after the Manifesto and the consequences of the liquidation of the New Sich are established.
