The city's subjectivity as an actor in international relations (on the example the city diplomacy)

Abstract

The Qualification Bachelor paper clarifies the peculiarities of formation of the city's subjectivity as an actor of international relations through the practice of city diplomacy. The notion of city diplomacy is conceptualized, its evolution and current state are studied, through the development of soft power of cities in the process of international cooperation. The role of cities in solving global problems is determined, as well as possible problems and prospects for the interaction of cities and states.
