Abstract

The work is devoted to substantiating the interaction of the international news industry and the Ukrainian national consciousness. The effect of international news on a person is studied. The essence of news as an instrument of pressure on society is specified. The influence of international news on the formation of political culture is determined. The order of formation of national consciousness is generalized. The influence of international news on the consciousness of Ukrainians is systematized. The role of the media in the formation and implementation of the national idea in Ukrainian society is substantiated.
