Study of manipulation of voting results (on the example of the Borda count)

Abstract

The voting procedure and the possibility of manipulating the voting results are investigated in the qualification (bachelor's) work. It was established that both voters and voting organizers can manipulate voting results. For the Board count, formulas were derived for the selection of coefficients, which can be used to manipulate the results, namely to select them in such a way that any of the candidates can win the voting.
