The issue of professional training of future teachers-philologists to communicative competence of high school students assess by means of test technologies is comprehensively investigated in the research. A retrospective analysis of the historical periods of professional training of the future teacher-philologist formation is carried out. The essence of the basic concepts of the study is revealed. Criteria, indicators and levels of future philologists readiness for the communicative competence of high school students assessment by means of test technologies are determined. The theoretical model of future teachers of philology professional training to communicative competence of high school students assess by means of test technologies is substantiated.
Particular attention is paid to the development of a special course "Fundamentals of Test Technologies".
