Phraseological units with a botanical component in the Ukrainian language.

Abstract

In the master's thesis phraseological units of the Ukrainian language with a botanical component are considered. The productive names of plants are considered, the influence of the botanical component on the formation of phraseological meaning is investigated. 690 proverbs and sayings with a plant component are analyzed. The structural and semantic types of plant names, their origin, structure and symbolism of meaning are clarified.
