Problems and ways of overcoming poverty in Ukraine.

In the qualification (master's) work the essence, characteristics and causes of poverty are studied. A set of indicators for measuring poverty is considered. The scale of poverty and living standards of the population of Ukraine are determined. The poverty of the Ukrainian population was assessed according to the main statistical indicators. The property stratification of the population of Ukraine in the statistical dimension is analyzed. The impact of the coronavirus crisis on the poverty of the population of Ukraine has been revealed. Recommendations for improving the state policy of overcoming poverty in Ukraine are offered. The foreign experience of overcoming poverty and the possibility of its application in Ukraine are studied. Measures of social support of the population during the coronavirus crisis have been developed.
