The thesis is focused in an implementation of scientific and practical solutions for the strategic performance management process for Ukrainian Steel companies, with the applied justification of the development and implementation of mechanisms for its measurement and ensuring.
The economic essence of performance measurement based on the analysis of the evolution of the performance measurement systems are catalogued, which allows to identify the reference characteristics of a system for measuring strategic performance. The systemology of companies strategic performance management process made it possible to identify its systemic adaptation components and the requirements for their effective interaction; with justification for the six stages of such a process, namely: identification of factors influencing strategic performance in various areas; development of an adaptive methodological approach to measuring strategic performance; assessing the potential range of improving strategic performance; substantiation of managerial decisions regarding the areas of necessary transformational and adaptation changes; the formation of a mechanism to ensure the highest possible strategic performance; implementation of such a mechanism. It is proposed to consider the strategic performance management process as a synchronized part of strategic management.
