Abstract

The master's thesis is devoted to the study of advertising discourse as a linguistic and cultural phenomenon. The structure of the Ukrainian and English advertising discourse analyzes the structure, linguistic and stylistic means and functions of the advertising text, highlights the features of Ukrainian and English advertising as a representative of the value pictures of the world. Emphasis is placed on the main trends in the reproduction of linguistic and cultural realities in the translation of English-language advertising into Ukrainian.
