Development of an effective system of bonus payment

Abstract

The paper considers the economic essence of bonus payments for employees working at enterprises. Based on the analysis of the economic literature, the features of increasing the employees’ labor activity were studied. The paper investigates the problems of motivating workers at JSC "Ukrposhta", the basic requirements, principles, and features of application in modern conditions. It was revealed that there are insufficiently clarified issues regarding the provision of additional incentives for employees in the system of measures to improve the activity of employees. The essence of such concepts as "material incentives", "bonus payment" was revealed. The significance and role of bonus payments were disclosed, as well as their types considered. The stimulating effect of bonuses on the efficiency of the personnel of JSC "Ukrposhta" has been studied. Recommendations for the bonus payment system were also propounded.
