The paper examines the problems of legal regulation of labor protection in the food industry, clarifies the concept of "the right to labor protection in the food industry", "risk-oriented approach to labor protection", specifies the procedure for processing and approving local acts on labor protection at food industry enterprises, analyzes the practice of applying legislation regulating labor protection relations.
The classification of local regulations on labor protection in the food industry has been improved. The necessity of introducing a risk-based approach in the field of labor protection in the food industry is justified. Proposals have been prepared for amendments and additions to the legislation on labor protection, including in the food industry.
