Abstract

The master's thesis analyzes the socio-political image of evangelical believers in Ukraine between the 1940s - 1960s, formed in the context of the anti-religious policy of the totalitarian regime of the USSR. The views of Ukrainian and foreign researchers of the history of the evangelical movement are highlighted. The research is based on the principles of historicism and scientific objectivity. It analyzes the directions and mechanisms of the Soviet system's creation of a negative image of the evangelical movement, identifies its characteristic components, and reproduces the forms of resistance of the faithful.
