Abstract

The qualification work investigated the nature and specifics of linguistic means of manipulative influence in advertising texts. The first section outlined the concepts and types of advertising texts, clarified the methodology for studying the manipulative influence of language in advertising. The second section was devoted to the consideration of verbal means of influence at different language levels. The third section highlights the strategies and tactics of speech influence on the addressee in the advertising text, offers methods and techniques for protection against manipulation in advertising.
